Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

A notable gathering in Madrid welcomed faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, highlighted intercultural coexistence, religious freedom and respect. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.

During the event, participants explored themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement.
